Job summary

Union Technologies is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer in Dallas, Texas to support and optimize manufacturing processes across multiple cells. Key responsibilities include developing manufacturing methods, troubleshooting production issues, and ensuring quality control through advanced testing techniques. The ideal candidate is experienced in engineering with a strong foundation in manufacturing principles and GD&T standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience with ISO9001/AS9100 standards.
• Familiarity with process drawings and GD&T per ASME Y14.5 standards.

Responsibilities

• Support manufacturing cells from start to finish.
• Monitor production and troubleshoot issues.
• Develop manufacturing methods and process drawings.
• Assist in investigating root causes using problem-solving methods.

Skills

Knowledge of metals

Knowledge of Non-Destructive Testing

Knowledge of Mechanical Testing

Hands-on assembly experience

Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles

Use of basic inspection tools

Excellent communication skills

Ability to multitask

Attention to detail

Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Education

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
