Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to lead shop floor execution for the Blue Moon MK1 Lunar Lander program. You will translate engineering definitions into actionable work instructions, manage bills of material, and push for tooling and process improvements to enhance quality and schedule.

You will collaborate with technicians and flight hardware teams, perform root cause analyses, and support non-conformance repair while adapting to shift rotations and travel where needed.

Qualifications

• BS in engineering field from an accredited university.
• Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or process engineering roles.
• Ability to work shifts, weekends, and extended hours as required.
• Strong communication and software skills (CAD, scheduling, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain manufacturing work instructions aligned with released design requirements.
• Identify and deploy new manufacturing methods and tooling to improve quality and reduce cost.
• Support non-conformance repair and rework activities.
• Perform root cause analyses and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct FMEA studies to strengthen design-to-build feedback loops.
• Collaborate with technicians and flight hardware to progress shop floor production.
