Job summary

Jobot, a worldwide leader in aerospace and defense applications, seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to own and optimize production processes at our San Martin, CA facility. You will lead root cause investigations, drive scrap reduction, and support new product launches and capital projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams and leveraging ERP systems.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's in engineering and 2+ years in process engineering, with Lean Six Sigma certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of process engineering in a manufacturing environment.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt certification preferred.
• Proven experience with ERP systems and cross-functional project leadership.
• Demonstrated ability to support root cause investigations and corrective actions using Lean, Six Sigma, FMEA, SPC, RCCA.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, performance, and process control systems.

Responsibilities

• Own and improve manufacturing processes, performance, and process control systems to ensure efficiency and quality.
• Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective actions using Lean, Six Sigma, FMEA, SPC, and RCCA methodologies.
• Drive efforts to reduce scrap, improve yield, and optimize throughput and quality in the manufacturing process.
• Support new product launches, process validations, and engineering trials to ensure successful integration.
• Support process improvement and capital equipment projects with technical leadership.
• Develop, maintain, and improve manufacturing documentation, work instructions, and control plans.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams and demonstrate leadership in project management using ERP systems.
