Job summary

Allient Inc. in Tulsa, Oklahoma is seeking a Design Engineer to join our team and drive development from concept through production. You will collaborate with sales, engineering, quality and manufacturing to deliver new customer applications, launches and cost reductions.

The role emphasizes designing and releasing products, analyzing engineering data, and supporting processes across manufacturing. Office-based with some floor exposure and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical).
• 5–10 years of work experience; gear motors and drives knowledge a plus.
• Experience with SolidWorks, MATLAB, Altium and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Manages and coordinates the design and release to production of products.
• Analyzes and interprets engineering data for products and components.
• Consults with manufacturing engineering on methods, tooling, and cost estimates.
• Develops and presents technical information for planning initiatives.
• Plans and develops experimental test programs and analyzes results.
• Coordinates with production and engineering staff to solve design issues.
