Job summary

Northrop Grumman seeks a Manufacturing Engineer for the Armament Systems BU in Plymouth, MN. You will design and optimize manufacturing processes, production layouts, and workflows for complex assemblies and tooling, ensuring quality and regulatory compliance.

BS in Engineering and 5+ years in regulated manufacturing are required; SAP S/4HANA experience is preferred. On-site role with relocation assistance and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or STEM field required.
• 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in a highly regulated environment.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA in a manufacturing setting.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing and PES principles.

Responsibilities

• Design manufacturing processes and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, machining and material handling.
• Optimize machine layout within plant facilities for efficiency.
• Define operation sequences and procedures for fabrication of tools and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and quality standards.
• Support SAP S/4HANA, MES Solumina, and MRP processes in production.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external customers.
