Job summary

Pall Corporation, a Danaher company, is seeking a Sr. R&D Engineer in Cortland, NY, to drive New Product Development in filtration and purification technologies.

The role involves cross-functional collaboration to deliver differentiated performance and engage with the Energy+ unit for strategic alignment. The position reports to the Director of R&D and focuses on design, modeling, prototyping, testing and analysis, with onsite work in Cortland.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, chemical, or materials engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in R&D/product development and/or design engineering.
• Experience in dynamic flow testing and analysis.
• Experience/technical background in system design for filtration technology is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Apply technical background to design of liquid and gas filtration technologies.
• Design, analyze and engineer new products with differentiated performance improvements.
• Contribute to the value chain of filtration technology design including modeling and prototyping.
• Lead innovation and develop new technologies to contribute to Pall’s IP.
• Mentor new talent in the subject matter area.
