Job summary
A-dec is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to design, implement, and improve manufacturing processes, aligning with quality, safety, delivery, and cost goals. You will collaborate across teams to drive continuous improvement and ensure processes meet standards.
The role involves leading ERP/PLM data accuracy, developing work instructions, supporting NPI, CAPA, and cross-functional problem solving, while advancing lean manufacturing practices at our Newberg site.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in manufacturing or industrial engineering or equivalent.
- Moderate to advanced CAD skills (2D/3D) in AutoCAD/Inventor.
- Solid ERP/MRP experience with manufacturing systems.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to resolve production issues and guide ME technicians.
- Collect data to establish ERP routes, run times, and process sequences.
- Support ERP and PLM data accuracy and related documentation.
- Create and maintain manufacturing work instructions and training materials.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and improve quality.
- Collaborate across functions to analyze variability and apply data analytics.
