Acuity Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to drive manufacturing excellence through lean initiatives, process optimization, and continuous improvement. You will partner with cross-functional teams to design, improve, and sustain efficient manufacturing processes while supporting production and NPI.

The ideal candidate has hands‑on manufacturing engineering experience, strong analytical skills, and a passion for improving quality, productivity, and safety in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, Manufacturing Engineering, or Engineering Technology.

Responsibilities

• Develop, improve, and sustain manufacturing processes to increase productivity, quality, and operational efficiency.
• Lead Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives to eliminate waste and optimize production flow.
• Analyze production data, identify process improvements, and implement corrective actions to improve manufacturing performance.
• Support production by troubleshooting processes, equipment, and tooling with Quality, Operations, and Engineering teams.
• Design and optimize manufacturing cells, production layouts, and material flow to improve throughput and efficiency.
• Participate in New Product Introduction (NPI) activities ensuring manufacturability and process validation.
• Train production personnel on Lean principles, standardized work, and best practices.
• Research and implement new manufacturing technologies, equipment, and industry best practices.
