Job summary

RBC in Weaverville, NC is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to plan, direct, and support CNC machining processes and the personnel who run them. You will research production problems, establish standard requirements for equipment, tooling, and methods, and determine optimal use of resources.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience with CNC machine tools and tooling development.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement new production equipment to enhance manufacturing capabilities.
• Maintain accurate work instructions, routings, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Drive process improvements focused on cost reduction, quality, and safety.
• Provide engineering support to business/production unit.
• Analyze layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency.
