Job summary

Jobot seeks a Manufacturing Engineer in Chicago to design and refine production workflows across CNC/machining, sheet metal, welding, and assembly. You will lead improvements, develop tooling, analyze data, and collaborate cross-functionally on new product rollouts.

The role emphasizes ERP usage, CAD/CAM proficiency, and Lean Six Sigma leadership to boost efficiency, quality, and cost performance in a fully integrated manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
At least 5 years of related experience.
Experience using ERP systems to maintain production routers and BOMs.
Proficient with Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD.
Haas VF-4 setup and operation is a plus.

Responsibilities

Create and revise CNC programs using Autodesk Fusion for Haas machines.
Design fixtures and equipment for production using Autodesk Inventor.
Use additive manufacturing to produce fixtures and equipment.
Maintain and revise production routers and other production documents.
Analyze process data to identify improvements and costs.
Lead APQP projects and submit ECNs as needed.
Lead Lean Six Sigma projects.
