Job summary

DwyerOmega is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer to drive improvements across our global production footprint. You will design and qualify tools, machines, and processes that enhance quality, reliability and efficiency in HVAC and process measurement equipment.

You will collaborate with senior engineers on development programs, manage capital equipment projects, and contribute to best-practice Lean policies. A BS in Engineering and 3+ years in manufacturing are required.

Qualifications

  • B.S. in Engineering or related field required.
  • Minimum 3 years manufacturing experience or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and apply continuous improvement methods to enhance manufacturing quality, reliability, or cost-effectiveness.
  • Design, develop, test or source machinery and equipment for manufacturing methods.
  • Support engineers in R&D of processes including welding schedules, production flow, and equipment.
  • Manage capital equipment projects from start to finish.
  • Apply failure analysis to determine root causes and drive design or process changes.
  • Coordinate pre-production activities including sampling and prototype production.
  • Provide drawings and documentation for manufacturing and assembly.
