Job summary

DwyerOmega is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer to join the Operations team. The role requires proven experience in manufacturing process optimization, machining, LEAN practices, and project management.

Candidates should have at least 1 year in a manufacturing environment and be adept with and able to support production tooling, documentation, and process improvements. Ideal candidates will have a BS in Engineering or related field, hands-on production experience, and familiarity with

Qualifications

  • BS degree in Engineering or related technical field.
  • At least 1 year of hands-on production experience.
  • Experience with assembly, machining, welding, brazing, and/or soldering is a plus.
  • Lean/Six Sigma certification is a plus.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills and PLC/CNC exposure a benefit.

Responsibilities

  • Design, plan, specify, procure, certify, and implement production equipment and processes.
  • Collaborate with Lean/CI to develop processes and standard work to improve output and quality.
  • Introduce and implement new processes and flows to reduce cycle time and cost.
  • Support CNC programming/supervision to improve OEE and schedule attainment.
  • Own routings, work instructions, and process flow documentation.
