Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to independently and collaboratively improve assembly processes for generators in the range of 35kW to 850kW. You will manage projects from planning to release, ensuring safe, high-quality output with efficient throughput.

The role emphasizes continuous improvement, lean methods, and problem solving, with involvement in scheduling, tooling, and capital projects across a global manufacturing context.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Develop, analyze, and manage manufacturing and assembly projects.
• Troubleshoot day-to-day process problems and implement effective solutions.
• Lead tool design reviews, process layouts, cost estimates, and equipment planning.
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI) to ensure manufacturability and on-time releases.
• Adhere to quality, safety, ergonomics, and cost-reduction standards in all duties.
