Job summary

Urschel Laboratories, Inc. seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to analyze products and product families, design routings for parts and machines, troubleshoot production problems, and support capital improvement projects.

The role requires reporting daily to the Corporate Headquarters in Chesterton, Indiana, and not remote. The ideal candidate will have an associate’s degree in engineering or technology or five years of Urschel manufacturing experience, plus strong mechanical aptitude and experience

Qualifications

• Minimum associate’s degree in engineering or technology or five years Urschel manufacturing experience.
• Experience with manufacturing systems engineering, continuous improvement, and lean techniques.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Design manufacturing routings for parts and machines, focusing on quality and preserving design intent.
• Troubleshoot production problems and assist management in developing permanent solutions.
• Assist in capital improvement expenditures.
