Job summary

Abbott Laboratories in Roseville, MN is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to lead process improvement and support the Distribution Center within the Cardiac Rhythm Management medical device division.

You will analyze performance data, develop procedures, and drive lean initiatives using DMAIC, 5S, and SPC while collaborating with operations, quality, and engineering teams to ensure regulatory compliance and measurable business results.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree required with at least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Preferred experience in regulated manufacturing and healthcare environments.
• Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead project execution and process improvement initiatives.
• Develop procedures, standards, and performance metrics.
• Collaborate with operations, quality, engineering and support teams.
• Support CAPA, validation activities, audits, and quality programs.
• Apply Lean tools (DMAIC, 5S, SPC, Gemba) to improve efficiency.
• Analyze layout, equipment, and workflows to boost performance.
• Communicate updates, manage risks, and align stakeholders.
