Job summary
Abbott in Roseville, MN seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to lead process improvement initiatives within the Cardiac Rhythm Management distribution center. You will partner with operations, quality, and engineering to drive efficiency, quality, and customer service, while supporting CAPA and validation activities and ensuring regulatory compliance.
This role offers hands-on experience with lean methodologies, data analysis, and cross‑functional collaboration to deliver measurable business results
Qualifications
- Associates Degree in a relevant field or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year relevant experience in manufacturing/distribution.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement.
- Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt preferred; Green Belt a plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and data analysis.
Responsibilities
- Lead process improvement initiatives to meet safety, quality, delivery, cost, and timeline objectives.
- Develop and maintain procedures, standards, and performance metrics.
- Create project documentation, business cases, and CAPA activities.
- Collaborate with Finance and Operations on budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Lead or support projects using Lean/Six Sigma tools and methodologies.
