Peak to Creek Precision Staffing is partnering with a well-established Thompson, CT manufacturer to hire a Manufacturing Engineer on onsite basis. The role supports the Controls Engineering team by developing and maintaining manufacturing processes, ERP engineering data, CNC programming, tooling, and continuous improvements.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Production, Quality, and Supply Chain to ensure safe, efficient, and high-precision manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or 4-year degree required in Engineering/Manufacturing tech or related field.
• Proficiency with CAD (SolidWorks preferred) and ERP manufacturing software (BOMs/routings).
• Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and electrical schematics.
• Strong root-cause analysis, troubleshooting, and project organization skills.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain bills of manufacture, routings, and data in ERP system.
• Develop and support CNC programs for fabrication equipment and tooling.
• Investigate bottlenecks, non-conforming products, and technical issues with cross-functional teams.
• Apply Lean manufacturing to improve productivity, reduce cost, and improve quality.
• Review ECNs and collaborate on production methods, tooling needs, and make-vs-buy decisions.
• Evaluate and recommend new manufacturing equipment and automation technologies.
