Advatix Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer in Thomaston, CT. This onsite, full-time role focuses on creating and maintaining bills of manufacture and routings in the ERP system, developing CNC programs, and designing tooling to boost production efficiency.

The candidate will collaborate across Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain, while supporting continuous improvement initiatives and new equipment evaluations for defense-grade, mission-critical systems.

Qualifikationen

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience using CAD; SolidWorks preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems, BOMs, and routings.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and electrical schematics.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; strong analytical and communication skills.
• Collaborative, cross-functional mindset with travel flexibility.

Aufgaben

• Create and maintain bills of manufacture, engineering masters, routings, and related data in the ERP system.
• Develop, maintain, and support CNC programs for fabrication equipment.
• Design tooling and fixtures to improve manufacturing efficiency.
• Coordinate tooling and fabrication with internal teams and outside suppliers.
• Troubleshoot issues with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain teams.
• Improve manufacturing processes to optimize quality, productivity, and cost.
• Review engineering changes and update manufacturing docs and orders.
• Investigate non-conforming products and participate in corrective actions.
• Evaluate new equipment, tooling, and technologies to enhance production.
• Provide technical support during customer proposals and quotations.
• Collaborate with Design Engineering on manufacturability and production methods.
• Support make-versus-buy evaluations with Purchasing and Supply Chain.
• Participate in Lean initiatives (Six Sigma, Kaizen, Kanban, 5S).
• Assist with onboarding and training of new Manufacturing Engineering personnel.
• Provide guidance throughout the manufacturing lifecycle.
