Job summary

3M is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support extrusion operations at the Prairie du Chien, WI site. You will lead continuous improvement projects, driving safety, quality and efficiency improvements while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The role requires a strong technical background, leadership, and experience with Lean/Six Sigma. Travel up to 10% and relocation may be authorized as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or science from an accredited university.
• Additional qualifications include a Mechanical or Chemical Engineering degree.
• Two years of technical manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience with Lean, SPC, DOE, Six Sigma is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support extrusion operations at Prairie du Chien site to improve safety, quality and efficiency.
• Lead continuous improvement projects using Lean, Six Sigma, and standard work development.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting in daily operations, including nights/weekends as needed.
