Job summary

BRP US Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support production in a mixed model assembly environment in Wisconsin.

You will develop, implement, and refine assembly processes to meet cost, quality, and capacity goals, and you will work with team leads and technicians to resolve issues. The role requires a BS in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering with 2+ years of experience, knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Office, and Google Suite, and a lean manufacturing mindset.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in a technical field with 2+ years of experience
  • Proficiency with MS Office and Google Suite
  • AutoCAD knowledge is required
  • Lean manufacturing principles understood
  • Willingness to travel infrequently
  • Current work authorization; sponsorship not provided

Responsibilities

  • Support production in a mixed model assembly environment
  • Develop, implement, and improve assembly processes for cost, quality, and capacity
  • Specify, procure, validate, and implement tools, fixtures, and equipment
  • Provide recommendations in tool selection and error-proofing
  • Apply lean manufacturing and DMAIC to identify root cause and permanent solutions
  • Work with team leads and technicians to resolve problems
  • Develop and maintain standard work instructions and implement engineering change notices
  • Achieve milestones for New Product Development programs
