Job summary

AISIN Texas in Cibolo, TX is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to provide engineering support for manufacturing processes, equipment, tooling, and production systems. This role focuses on improving safety, quality, productivity, and equipment availability through lean practices, coordination with engineering, maintenance, and planning teams, and leading ramp-up of new equipment.

Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in engineering and 1+ year in automotive manufacturing; PMP and Six Sigma

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or related technical discipline required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in automotive manufacturing.
• PMP certification and Six Sigma Green Belt preferred.
• Experience in cross-functional engineering roles is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for manufacturing processes, equipment, tooling, and production systems.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Maintenance, Production, Quality, and Planning teams to improve equipment reliability, safety, and quality.
• Support installation, qualification, and ramp-up of new equipment, including capability studies and process verification.
• Serve as the engineering point of contact for machining process changes and related documentation.
• Design and improve jigs, fixtures, tooling, and replacement parts using 2D and 3D CAD.
• Apply lean manufacturing concepts to improve cycle time, OEE, labor efficiency, cost, and overall process performance.
• Troubleshoot equipment and process issues and provide technical support to Maintenance and Production teams.
• Assist in developing replacement part requirements, maintenance schedules, and equipment reliability improvements.
• Plan and support budget requirements for new equipment, tooling, and program investments.
• Maintain engineering documentation and drawing control standards.
