Job summary

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering preferred.
• 3–8 years of hands-on engineering experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with 3D CAD/CAM and SolidWorks.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate manufacturing processes by designing and conducting research programs of new technology or automation to streamline and improve operations.
• Develop manufacturing processes by studying product requirements, researching testing methods, and conferring with equipment vendors on validation and root cause analysis.
• Improve efficiency by analyzing workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout.
• Provide manufacturing cost data by calculating production, labor, and material costs.
• Maintain data and reports to guide decisions.
