Job summary

Tramec LLC in Iola, Kansas, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to develop and optimize manufacturing processes, tooling, and documentation. You will lead new product launches, process validation, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure safe, high-quality, and cost-effective production.

The role requires collaboration with Product Engineering, Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Purchasing, plus hands-on support on the production floor. Automotive/heavy-duty experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 3-5 years of manufacturing engineering experience in a production environment.
• Experience developing/improving processes, tooling, fixtures, automation, and production equipment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and continuously improve manufacturing processes.
• Lead implementation of production equipment, automation, and tooling.
• Lead APQP manufacturing activities and production readiness reviews.
• Develop manufacturing processes and work instructions for new products; PPAP documentation.
• Provide hands-on engineering support on the production floor and lead root cause investigations.
