Job summary

Price Industries, located in Winder, GA, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to drive process improvements, reduce costs, and boost productivity in our manufacturing operations. The role supports automation projects, capital investments, and continuous improvement across multiple functions.

Entry-level to senior-level openings are available, with responsibilities expanding for those with 5+ years of experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred.
• 1+ year of manufacturing engineering experience (including internships/co-ops).
• Experience with sheet metal fabrication, assembly operations, or discrete manufacturing preferred.
• Demonstrated success leading process improvement and cost reduction projects.
• Experience supporting capital equipment or automation projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and implement process improvement and cost reduction initiatives throughout the plant.
• Analyze manufacturing processes and develop solutions to improve safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing initiatives, including flow manufacturing, 5S, visual management, and Kanban systems.
• Support automation projects, equipment upgrades, and new manufacturing technology implementations.
• Develop, justify and manage capital projects from concept through implementation.
• Maintain plant layouts, work instructions, process documentation, and engineering change records.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing and equipment issues, performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
• Partner with Engineering, Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Purchasing to improve manufacturability, material flow, and overall operational performance.
