Job summary

SKF is seeking two Manufacturing Engineers for our Falconer, NY facility to design, implement, and improve manufacturing processes. You will work cross-functionally to enhance safety, quality, productivity, and cost efficiency, while supporting new product introductions and CAPA activities.

Ideal candidates hold a manufacturing engineering degree with 3+ years of experience, proficiency in CAD, and strong problem-solving and project-management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of manufacturing engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Experience with Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement.
• Proficiency with CAD software and process design tools.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and improve manufacturing processes and workflows.
• Identify opportunities to boost efficiency, reduce waste, and cut costs.
• Support new product launches with process docs and standards.
• Lead continuous improvement projects using Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen.
• Collaborate with QA to resolve process-related quality issues.
• Train staff on new processes and maintain SOPs and specs.
• Monitor production performance via data analysis and recommend changes.
• Participate in equipment selection, installation, and validation.
