Job summary
SKF in Falconer, NY is hiring two Manufacturing Engineers to design and optimize production processes, support new product introductions, and lead continuous improvement projects. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in engineering, 3+ years’ experience, and proficiency in CAD, ERP/MRP, and data-driven problem solving.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Manufacturing/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or related field.
- 3+ years of manufacturing engineering experience.
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement.
- Proficiency with CAD software and process design tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and data sheets.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and improve manufacturing processes, equipment, tooling, and workflows.
- Analyze production methods to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Support new product launches with process documentation and standards.
- Lead continuous improvement projects using Lean/Six Sigma/Kaizen.
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance to resolve process issues.
- Develop SOPs and process diagrams; monitor performance with data analysis.
