Job summary

SKF Group is seeking a Design & Process Engineering Manager to lead the development, optimization, and implementation of product designs and manufacturing processes. You will collaborate with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Maintenance, Sales, and Product Management to drive engineering excellence and efficiency across the organization.

The role requires 7+ years in engineering within manufacturing, plus 3+ years in leadership, CAD proficiency, and strong project management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, manufacturing, industrial, product design engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• 3+ years of leadership or supervisory experience managing engineering teams.
• Strong knowledge of product development, manufacturing processes, and process optimization.
• Experience leading cross-functional engineering and operational improvement projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Design and Process Engineering teams through coaching and performance management.
• Oversee product design activities from concept through production release.
• Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve productivity.
• Lead capital investment projects from concept through implementation and manage budgets.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities for successful product industrialization and production readiness.
