Job summary

Johnson Controls in Wisconsin is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer on 1st shift to support current manufacturing and drive continuous improvement.

You will develop processes, tooling, and production controls for new products, supervise assembly and proofing, and collaborate to resolve production issues.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering with 1–3 years' experience; salary range $76k–$105k, plus bonus and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; 1–3 years of progressive manufacturing engineering experience.
• Knowledge of formal problem-solving methods and financial controls.
• Lean manufacturing experience and cost/process improvement.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related software.

Responsibilities

• Review specifications, bid proposals, and cost estimates to assess manufacturability and scheduling.
• Develop processes, tooling, and production controls for new products.
• Support production to resolve manufacturing issues.
• Coordinate new product development and cost-reduction activities.
• Plan and manage capital equipment and TPM initiatives.
• Maintain and troubleshoot manufacturing software and reporting.
