Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Manufacturing Engineering required; MS preferred.
- Extensive experience in aerospace/defense manufacturing environments.
- Knowledge of IPC-A-610, J-STD-001, IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards.
Responsibilities
- Attend design reviews and provide product evaluations to ensure manufacturability.
- Review engineering drawings before Production Release for compatibility with manufacturing techniques.
- Assist in make/buy evaluations and recommend in-house vs outside vendor capabilities.
- Evaluate requirements for assembly tooling, fixtures, and equipment.
