Job summary

Marvin is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer Intern in Minnesota to apply classroom learnings to real-world manufacturing projects. You will join a collaborative team focused on safety and efficiency and gain practical experience with our engineering tasks.

Ideal candidates are currently enrolled in an engineering degree, with strong communication and curiosity. This internship offers exposure to safety projects, time studies, value stream mapping, and layout updates, using AutoCAD and Inventor

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an engineering degree program.
• Engineering internship or related experience is helpful but not required.
• Strong communication skills and curiosity to ask questions.

Responsibilities

• Apply classroom learnings to real-world manufacturing projects.
• Support safety projects, time studies, bottleneck analysis, value stream mapping.
• Assist with layout updates, fixture drawings, and standard work procedures.
• Collaborate with teams and share progress with Plant Leadership.
• Operate AutoCAD and Inventor at your workstation.

• Apply technical skills learned in school to real-world applications.

• Support engineering tasks including safety projects, time studies, bottleneck analysis, value stream mapping, layout updates, fixture drawings, and standard work procedures.

• Collaborate with a variety of teams on engineering projects and share updates with Plant Leadership.

• Enjoy access to your own workstation including AutoCAD and Inventor software.

You're a good fit if you have (or if you can)

• Current enrollment in an Engineering degree program, or equivalent

• Previous internship experience (helpful, but not required)
