Job summary
Cretex Medical in the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer Intern to provide technical support on manufacturing projects and assist the Engineering department from scope definition through implementation.
The internship will be located in either Coon Rapids, MN or Anoka, MN and is an on-site, 40-hour-per-week position. Interns will gain hands-on experience with current manufacturing technologies, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and explore potential career
Qualifications
- Enrollment in a four-year degree program for Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Ability to use measuring devices.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide internal customer technical support
- Part manufacturability technical support
- Assist with the implementation of process and design improvements
- Support and comply with the company Quality System, ISO, and medical device requirements
- Read, understand, and follow work instructions and standard work
- Partner with other business segments: sales/marketing, customer service, engineering, quality, and finance
- Understand customer needs and the core business markets we serve
