Cretex Medical invites applications for a Manufacturing Engineer Intern to support engineering with projects from scope through implementation. The role is located in Coon Rapids, MN or Anoka, MN and requires on-site work at 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities include internal technical support, process improvements, and compliance with ISO/medical device requirements. Strong reading of blueprints and measurement skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a four-year degree program for Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Ability to use measuring devices.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide internal customer technical support.
• Part manufacturability technical support.
• Assist with the implementation of process and design improvements.
• Support and comply with the quality system, ISO, and medical device requirements.
• Read, understand, and follow work instructions and standard work.
• Partner with other business segments: sales/marketing, customer service, engineering, quality, and finance.
• Understand customer needs and the core business markets we serve.
