Job summary

Cretex Medical in Minnesota is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer Intern to provide technical support for manufacturing projects and assist with scope definition through implementation. You will read blueprints, use measuring devices, and collaborate with engineering and operations on process improvements while maintaining quality system compliance.

Interns gain exposure to cross-functional teams, advance hands-on manufacturing skills, and participate in opportunities across Cretex family

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a four-year degree program for Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
• Ability to read blueprints and use measuring devices.
• Demonstrate interpersonal and teamwork skills to work with coworkers.
• Follow through on commitments and hold teammates accountable.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher).
• Clear verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and multitask.

Responsibilities

• Provide internal customer technical support.
• Provide part manufacturability technical support.
• Assist with the implementation of process and design improvements.
• Support and comply with the company Quality System, ISO, and medical device requirements.
• Read, understand, and follow work instructions and standard work.
• Partner with sales/marketing, customer service, engineering, quality, and finance.
• Understand customer needs and core business markets.
