Job summary

Cretex Medical is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer Intern to contribute to manufacturing projects and support the Engineering department from scope definition through implementation. The role is located in Coon Rapids, MN or Anoka, MN and is an on-site, 40-hour-per-week internship.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in a four-year Manufacturing/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering program with the ability to read blueprints and use measuring devices.

Responsibilities

• Provide internal customer technical support
• Part manufacturability technical support
• Assist with the implementation of process and design improvements
• Support and comply with the Quality System, ISO, and medical device requirements
• Read, understand, and follow work instructions and standard work
• Partner with other business segments: sales/marketing, customer service, engineering, quality, and finance
• Understand customer needs and the core business markets we serve
