Cretex Medical invites engineering interns to join the Manufacturing Engineering group in the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area, including Brooklyn Park.

The intern will support manufacturing projects from scope definition through implementation, gaining hands-on experience with process improvements and quality systems in a medical device environment. You will read blueprints, use measuring devices, and collaborate across teams to drive practical improvements while learning industry standards and

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a four-year degree program for Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Ability to use measuring devices.
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide internal customer technical support.
• Part manufacturability technical support.
• Assist with the implementation of process and design improvements.
• Support and comply with the company Quality System, ISO, and medical device requirements.
• Read, understand, and follow work instructions and standard work.
• Partner with other business segments: sales/marketing, customer service, engineering, quality, and finance.
• Understand customer needs and the core business markets we serve.
