U.S. Engineering is offering a Manufacturing Engineer Internship in Lawrence, KS for a 12-week Summer program. You will shadow project organization, estimating, manufacturing, and LEAN processes while gaining valuable hands-on experience.

You’ll participate in safety and quality initiatives, assist leadership with researching operational challenges, and develop leadership, communication, and teamwork skills in a collaborative environment.

Competenze

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Architecture Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Science, or Business with interest in Mechanical Contracting.
• Willingness to learn LEAN and safety programs while assisting other roles.

Mansioni

• Shadow project organization, estimating, manufacturing, and LEAN processes.
• Participate in learning safety and quality programs while assisting other Metalworks roles executing Safety and Quality events.
• Assist the office leadership with researching different operational challenges with the facility and grounds, including functional changes throughout the manufacturing processes.
