Job summary

Marvin is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer Intern for an on-site role in Kansas City, KS. The internship is part-time (min 15 hours/week) for Spring 2027, offering hands‑on experience with safety, quality, productivity, and cost optimization.

You will work with experienced engineers and cross‑functional teams, using AutoCAD and Inventor to support projects and updates to Plant Leadership.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in an Engineering degree program, or equivalent.
• Previous internship experience is helpful but not required.
• Excellent communication skills required and curiosity to ask questions when unclear.

Responsibilities

• Apply technical skills learned in school to real‑world applications.
• Support engineering tasks including safety projects, time studies, bottleneck analysis, value stream mapping, layout updates, fixture drawings, and standard work procedures.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and share updates with Plant Leadership.
• Access to workstation with AutoCAD and Inventor software.
