Job summary

You will work closely with design engineers to transfer new products and product improvements into manufacturing and to optimize both existing and new processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a 2 year associate's degree; 4 year bachelor's preferred.
• Experience designing or troubleshooting automated or semi-automated manufacturing equipment.
• Familiarity with pneumatics, solenoids, and PLC programming is beneficial.
• Experience creating and maintaining 2D part/assembly drawings with tolerancing.

Responsibilities

• Designing and creating new assembly/test fixtures and inspection gauges.
• Hands on troubleshooting of current manufacturing equipment.
• Training and working closely with production associates.
• Communicating with the engineering design team.
• Developing ideas to improve processes quickly and effectively.
• Creating operator instructions for new equipment and processes.
• Investigating new equipment purchases and preparing ROI presentations.
