Northrop Grumman in Commerce, CA is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer Level 3 to lead pump room modernization and site CI projects on 1st shift. You will apply Lean, 5S and value-stream methods to improve layouts, material flow and throughput.

You’ll partner across Facilities, EHS, Operations, and Programs; develop implementation plans, analyze data, and justify capital investments for upgraded utilities and infrastructure.

Formación

• 5 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree; 3 years with a Masters; equivalent experience considered.
• Experience applying lean methodologies in manufacturing environments including root-cause analysis.
• Proficiency with CAD and the interpretation of GD&T on engineering drawings.
• AS9100/ISO9001-2008/AS9145 or similar quality systems experience.
• Knowledge of machining, welding, and related processes.

Responsabilidades

• Lead pump room modernization and site modernization projects from concept to implementation.
• Apply Lean, 5S and CI to optimize layouts, material flow, ergonomics and space.
• Develop value stream maps and process flow diagrams to identify waste.
• Build project plans with schedules, risk assessments and resources.
• Use data to prioritize modernization and conduct root-cause analyses.
