Northrop Grumman is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer Level 3 in Commerce, CA for pump room modernization and CI projects. You will lead layout improvements, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and apply lean methods to enhance reliability and throughput.

The role requires CAD/NX proficiency, GD&T interpretation, and experience with aerospace manufacturing processes, welding, and heat treating. 1st shift; 10% travel may apply.

Qualifications

• 5 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree; 3 years with a Masters' degree.
• Lean methodologies in manufacturing/production with root-cause and Ishikawa analysis.
• Proficiency with AS9100, ISO 9001-2008, AS9145 or similar quality systems.
• CAD proficiency and ability to read engineering drawings with GD&T.
• Experience with machining, welding, and heat treating processes.

Responsabilités

• Lead pump room modernization and site layout improvements.
• Map current-state layouts, utilities, and material/people flow using CAD/Visio.
• Develop future-state layouts to improve reliability and throughput.
• Coordinate with Facilities, EHS, Operations and Programs for upgrades.
• Apply Lean and CI methodologies to optimize space and process flow.
