Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Commerce, CA seeks a Manager, Program Level 2 to lead the Propulsion portfolio within the Mission Enabling Products (MEP) Business Unit. You will drive program execution, cost and schedule performance, staffing, and customer satisfaction in a matrixed environment.

The role requires delivering contractual requirements on cost and schedule, with leadership of a cross-functional IPT and extensive interaction with customers and senior management. On-site at the Commerce, CA site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and 8 years, or master’s and 6 years’ experience in U.S. Government contracts or aerospace project management.
• Minimum 5 years’ leading teams, both functional and technical.
• Experience delivering program tasks on schedule and within cost.

Responsibilities

• Interface with Customer, business management, contracts, and engineering to meet objectives.
• Develop team structures and processes to optimize productivity and teamwork.
• Identify and manage program resources including workforce planning.
• Manage proposals, contracts, budgets, schedules, and key terms.
• Cultivate customer relationships to develop further opportunities.
• Lead cross-functional IPTs to meet cost, schedule and technical goals.
