Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Physics from an ABET-accredited program.
• At least 4 years of relevant engineering, analytical, or technical experience.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE security clearance if required.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% and work remotely, hybrid, or on-site as directed.

Responsibilities

• Designs and/or develops new products, processes, and equipment to meet customer specifications.
• Evaluates production methods, tooling, and acceptance equipment for complex components.
• Estimates set‑up times, operating times, and flow times for manufacturing processes.
• Plans engineering tests and uses advanced methods to solve problems and assure manufacturability.
• Assesses designs for manufacturability and resolves issues with suppliers.
• Produces evaluation reports and recommends cost‑effective improvements.
• Provides project leadership and technical guidance on complex engineering projects.
