Qualifications

• Advanced degree in engineering or a related discipline is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree minimum in engineering or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Develops manufacturing processes by studying product requirements, researching, designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods and equipment.
• Improves manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning layouts, space needs, and equipment.
• Ensures product and process quality by designing tests, evaluating capabilities, and setting standards.
• Calculates production costs, labor, and material needs; reviews schedules; estimates future requirements.
• Prepares product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
• Responds to questions and requests with manufacturing engineering information.
• Keeps equipment operating by coordinating maintenance and repairs per manufacturer guidelines.
• Maintains product and process data by entering data and supporting development projects.
• Keeps up with professional knowledge through education and networking.
