Job summary

Meet Life Sciences is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer II to manage production builds of complex electro-mechanical medical devices across multiple product lines. The role focuses on issue tracking, sustaining BOM and process management, production documentation, and continuous improvement to support safe, high-quality production.

The ideal candidate will have 3–6 years of manufacturing engineering experience in an electronic-based environment, with medical device exposure

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of manufacturing engineering experience in an electronic-based manufacturing environment.
• Medical device manufacturing experience preferred; aerospace manufacturing experience accepted.
• Experience with FDA QSR, ISO 13485, and/or ISO 9001.
• Ability to create, write, and edit technical documentation.
• Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of quality improvement tools and continuous improvement techniques.

Responsibilities

• Manage production builds across multiple product lines, including issue tracking, device improvements, and engineering changes.
• Partner with NPI Engineering to transfer new products into sustaining production.
• Create and maintain production documentation, including BOMs, assembly and test procedures, part drawings, and ECOs.
• Address quality documentation requirements and work with QA to resolve issues.
• Communicate production status and updates to manufacturing teams.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives targeting scrap reduction, yield improvement, and efficiency.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, quality, production, and other teams to meet build plans.
