Job summary

Howmet Aerospace Inc. in Fullerton, CA is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to develop and implement production methods under supervision, reporting to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager.

You will conduct process capability studies, optimize setups, support tooling and machine design, and apply Lean principles to improve cost, quality, and delivery. Weekend/second shift coverage and safety adherence are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited institution.
• 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing.
• Experience in CAD software, preferably SolidWorks.
• Knowledge of blueprint reading and GD&T.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products.
• Authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement production/processing methods and controls.
• Conduct process capability studies on machines, gauges and human factors.
• Identify methods to reduce setup time and improve efficiency.
• Provide input for tooling, fixtures and machine design.
• Support weekend and second shift coverage as required.
• Maintain clean, safe, and orderly work area.
