Job summary

Howmet Fastening Systems is seeking a Continuous Improvement Manager for our Fullerton, CA site to lead operational excellence initiatives across manufacturing operations.

The role deploys Lean methodologies, optimizes processes, and builds a culture of continuous improvement aligned with business goals. You will partner with Operations, Engineering, and Quality to identify opportunities, drive data-driven improvements, and coach leaders for sustainable performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations, industrial engineering, or related field from an accredited institution.
• 5+ years of manufacturing experience with focus on continuous improvement or operational excellence.
• Proven experience applying Lean Manufacturing tools and methodologies in a production environment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional projects and deliver measurable business results.
• Experience leading cultural transformation initiatives and driving employee engagement in continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations to improve SQDC performance.
• Provide strategic and tactical guidance, acting as an internal partner for sustained adoption of improvements.
• Coach leaders and teams to develop internal capabilities in continuous improvement.
