Job summary

General ThermoDynamics, an API Heat Transfer Company, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer II to support our Franklin, WI operations. The role focuses on process improvement, quality enhancement, and production efficiency across multiple teams.

You will lead Lean initiatives, support NPI, and collaborate with Operations, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and Engineering to deliver measurable manufacturing gains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of manufacturing engineering experience.
• Experience supporting fabrication, welding, machining, assembly, or industrial manufacturing operations.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze manufacturing processes to identify opportunities for productivity, quality, throughput, and cost improvements.
• Lead Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen events to reduce waste and improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI) by developing processes, tooling, and production documentation.
• Troubleshoot equipment and process issues and drive corrective actions.
