Job summary

Hazelett Corporation in Vermont is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer II to enhance manufacturing processes, lead capital and process-improvement projects, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve efficiency, safety, and quality.

This onsite role requires Lean and Six Sigma expertise, CAD proficiency, data analysis, and strong communication; you will apply Lean and Six Sigma to reduce waste and manage multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant manufacturing engineering experience preferred.
• Experience in lean transformation and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead capital and process-improvement projects aligning with company objectives.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret manufacturing data to improve processes.
• Recommend equipment and process improvements to enhance safety, quality, and cost.
• Collaborate with vendors and cross-functional teams on specifications and purchases.
• Facilitate product development meetings and provide manufacturing input.
• Apply Lean and Six Sigma to reduce waste and drive continuous improvement.
• Support GMP-like policies, procedures, and good manufacturing practices.
