Job summary

Talent Solutions Partners in Decorah, IA, is seeking a Manufacturing/Process Engineer to develop, maintain, and improve production processes. This role focuses on process stability, continuous improvement, and capital project support in collaboration with Operations, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain.

You will lead process changes, support new product introductions, apply Lean and Six Sigma, conduct root cause analyses, and manage capital projects from vendor selection to startup.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical) is required.
• 4–7 years of hands-on manufacturing or process engineering experience.
• Proven ability to independently analyze, improve, and sustain processes.
• Experience with lean manufacturing and capital projects.
• Strong knowledge of process capability, cycle time analysis, scrap reduction, and efficiency metrics.
• Hands-on with production teams and capable of interpreting engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Support daily manufacturing operations by monitoring process performance and addressing issues.
• Develop, document, and maintain work instructions, process flows, routings, and standard work.
• Analyze production data to identify improvement opportunities and implement changes.
• Lead capital project initiatives from equipment selection to startup.
• Champion Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support process validation and acceptance testing for new or modified equipment.
• Update documentation and train operators on improvements.
