Job summary

Marvin is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer II for our Warroad, Minnesota headquarters. You’ll spend time on the production floor identifying improvements and also on your desk performing calculations, collaborating with Production Associates, Engineering Technicians, and other Manufacturing Engineers.

You’ll apply CI/LEAN concepts, develop current and future state plans, and maintain roadmaps for capital projects while supporting equipment acquisitions.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Engineering, preferably Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechanical.
• 3-5 years Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering experience.
• Ability to communicate well and ask insightful questions.
• Ability to use or learn AutoCAD and Inventor.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and mentoring others.
• Project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Understand daily production floor challenges and suggest improvements.
• Support specific Product Groups in meeting goals.
• Identify and implement CI and LEAN concepts.
• Use engineering principles to establish current state and develop future state plans.
• Maintain a future state roadmap for capital project proposals.
• Support projects and equipment acquisition.
• Demonstrate knowledge of layout planning, procedures, costs, crewing, and takt time.

You're a good fit if you have (or if you can)

• BS degree in Engineering, preferably Industrial , Manufacturing , or Mechanical
• 3-5 years Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering experience
• A proven ability to communicate well with others and ask insightful questions
• Ability to use or learn AutoCAD and Inventor
• Ability to participate on, and lead, cross-functional teams
• Knowledge of manufacturing principals, procedures, and technology
• Ability and willingness to mentor others in the use of Engineering principals
• Project Management experience
